Fiat Chrysler recalls Pacifica Minivans to fix software glitch

Fiat Chryster (NYSE:FCAU) says it is recalling more than 162K 2017 Chrysler Pacifica minivans to fix an engine software glitch that may cause the vehicles to stall.

Under a rare set of conditions, a vehicle’s engine control module may incorrectly assess the engine’s operating status and cause it to stall, the company says.

This marks FCAU"s sixth major recall in the past five months, each unrelated to the others and most affecting different vehicle models.
