Another labor negotiation has ended successfully for AT&T (NYSE:T), which says a union has ratified its deal for the Mobility Orange Unit.
The Communications Workers of America signed off on the new four-year pact, which had been agreed to in principle Dec. 13.
The deal covers about 20,000 employees across 36 states and the District of Columbia. It included retroactive wage increases (and overall wage increases of a compound 10% over the four years) and -- because it was ratified by Jan. 12 -- a $1,000 lump sum.
